Our Journey
Our journey began in 2011 at the STAND production workshop, where young adults with special needs worked on consignment projects for brands such as Vitagen and KFC, earning between RM45 to RM100 a month. While the work provided structure, we knew they were capable of much more.Believing in their potential, we set out to create meaningful employment that builds confidence, dignity, and a sense of purpose. In 2020, Stand Pie Me was born. By focusing on pie-making, we introduced a structured, step-by-step process from ingredient preparation to baking and packing. All these designed to help our team learn, grow, and succeed with consistency and pride.In September 2024, we took the next step by opening our first Stand Pie Me Cafe in Millennium Square, Petaling Jaya.It's a space where our pies, and the people behind them, can truly shine.

For our team, this vision means being respected for who they are, supported as they learn, and trusted to do meaningful work.

To provide meaningful employment and vocational training for individuals with special needs and empowering them to gain financial independence and dignity.
For us, this means having real jobs, real skills, and real income. It comes along with the confidence, dignity, and independence that come from contributing meaningfully to their own lives and to society.
Meet the 'Pie'-neer
Sarjit Singh, Chairman
Sarjit Singh is the Chairman of Persatuan STAND and a passionate advocate for creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with special needs. He believes strongly in dignity, purpose, and inclusion for all.Under his leadership, initiatives like Stand Pie Me were built as training platforms where young adults with special needs gain confidence, life skills, and independence through real-world experiences.
